Peter Schwartz, Founder and President

Peter Schwartz received his BA in History from Swarthmore College and his PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He taught political philosophy and American politics for ten years at the University of Maryland, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Puget Sound. More recently, Peter served as the Political Science Editor at Microsoft Encarta and then as Editorial Director of FreeEDGAR.com. Peter also served as the Vice-President of Content Management at Nimble Technology. Peter founded Knowledge Mosaic in 2001. He develops corporate strategy and oversees its implementation.

 

 

Henryk Hiller, Vice President & Corporate Secretary

Henryk Hiller joined Knowledge Mosaic in April 2004.  He has been a member of the Washington State Bar Association since 1988.  He has also taught sociology and social psychology at Seattle University, the University of Washington, and Highline Community College.  Henryk received a BA in Sociology from Vassar College, a JD (with high honors) from Duke University, and Ph.D. Candidacy in Sociology from the University of Washington.

 

 

 

Chang Huang, Chief Software Architect

Chang Huang served for five years as the Lead Developer and as Manager of Software Development at FreeEDGAR.com and EDGAR Online. He led a product development team to deliver complex technical solutions for major institutional clients such as Morgan Stanley, Reuters, Standard and Poors, and Lucent. Chang has extensive experience working with unstructured financial and legal data for back-end data parsing, databases and web applications. He received an MS in Mathematics from Michigan State University, an MS in Computer Science from University of Georgia, and an MBA in Financial Management from City University in Seattle. He also holds an MCSD and MCDBA.
