Q1. When I click on a link nothing happens. [Top]

A: If you click a link on the website and nothing happens, the issue may be tied to a pop-up blocker. Try clicking the link while holding the control key. If this method does not resolve the issue, try clicking the Tools menu in the Internet Explorer browser window. Within the Tools menu, select Pop-up Blocker and select Pop-up Blocker Settings. In the Address of Web site to allow enter www.securitiesmosaic.com (or www.energymosaic.com or www.communicationsmosaic.com) and click Add.

Q2. The pages throughout the website are not laid out correctly and the graphics looks incorrect.

A: We recommend a few different settings to best view and search the Mosaic websites.

  • Browser Cache. If you notice website layout and display issues, first try to clean your internet browser’s cache by visiting the Tools menu in the Internet Explorer browser window and selecting Internet Options. In the Temporary Internet Files section of the menu click Delete Files and OK. Once the Internet Options menu is closed, refresh the page.
  • Text Size. We recommend using the Internet Explorer’s medium text size while using the Mosaic websites.
  • Screen Resolution. On the Control Panel of your computer select Appearance and Themes and Display. In the Display menu select Settings. We recommend a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
  • Solutions didn’t change anything? If these suggestions do not solve the layout issues, call our toll-free number 866.650.3600 or email support@knowledgemosaic.com with the specific details of your layout issue.
Q3. The search I just ran produced a time-out or error message. [Top]

A:

  • If you are running a search on the SEC Filings page and you receive a time-out or error message, please email us with the exact search you tried running. To retrieve results in the mean-time, try limiting your search to filings from the last year.
  • If a search times out anywhere on the website, call toll-free 866.650.3600 or email support@knowledgemosaic.com with the exact search you ran and if you can a copy of the error message you received.
Q4. I can’t get the larger SEC Filings to open. [Top]

A:

  • The larger filings, those 2000 kb or larger in size, take longer to load. You may have to wait two or three minutes for the filing to load entirely. If you wait over five minutes and receive an error message or a blank window, try opening the filing a second time.
  • If this problem persists, call our-toll free number 866.650.3600 or email support@knowledgemosaic.com with the details of your error message.
Q5. I have stopped receiving the Mosaic News. [Top]

A:

  • This problem may be tied to a Spam or Server Filter. If you were receiving the daily news and no longer receive it, first check your personal Spam filter.
  • Next check with your company’s IT Department to make sure the research@knowledgemosaic.com email address and the IP address 67.152.36.163 and 67.152.36.175 are white-listed by your company’s server.
Q6. I tried emailing a document to myself and never received an email. [Top]

A:

  • Occasionally Spam filters and server filters block email from Knowledge Mosaic. The first step is to check your personal Spam filter.
  • Next check with your company’s IT Department to make sure the research@knowledgemosaic.com email address and the IP address 67.152.36.163 and 67.152.36.175 are white-listed by your company’s server.
  • If these two solutions do not solve the problem, email support@knowledgemosaic.com or call our toll-free number 866.650.3600 and provide your email address.
