Peter Schwartz, Founder and President
Peter Schwartz received his BA in History from Swarthmore College and his PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He taught political philosophy and American politics for ten years at the University of Maryland, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Puget Sound. More recently, Peter served as the Political Science Editor at Microsoft Encarta and then as Editorial Director of FreeEDGAR.com. Peter also served as the Vice-President of Content Management at Nimble Technology. Peter founded Knowledge Mosaic in 2001. He develops corporate strategy and oversees its implementation.
Henryk Hiller, Vice President & Corporate Secretary
Henryk Hiller joined Knowledge Mosaic in April 2004. He has been a member of the Washington State Bar Association since 1988. He has also taught sociology and social psychology at Seattle University, the University of Washington, and Highline Community College. Henryk received a BA in Sociology from Vassar College, a JD (with high honors) from Duke University, and Ph.D. Candidacy in Sociology from the University of Washington.
Clif Swiggett, Chief Technology Officer
Clif Swiggett joined Knowledge Mosaic in October 2009. He has extensive experience building and leading world class software development teams. Prior to joining Knowledge Mosaic, Clif served in consulting and leadership roles at several technology companies including Synapse Product Development, Clarity Health Systems, and Dreambox Learning. He was founder and CEO of Mindsai Productions from 1994 until 2003. Mindsai developed educational games for clients such as Disney, Scholastic, and Discovery Communications. Clif worked at Microsoft Corporation from 1985 to 1994 in roles ranging from Software Development Engineer to General Manager. He graduated with honors from Princeton University in 1985, earning his BS degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
